Why the quiet approach
tends to hold.
We don't compete on speed or scale. We compete on the quality of what remains after we leave.
What we offer that others don't
Listening first, always
Every engagement begins with questions. We spend time understanding how your team works before suggesting a single change.
Written scope, no surprises
We define what will be built before any work begins. Scope doesn't expand without your written agreement. That's a practical commitment, not a marketing line.
Handover that creates independence
We leave you owning the work. Every build comes with plain-language documentation and the knowledge of how to modify or discontinue what we made.
Vendor-neutral by design
We have no referral agreements or commercial relationships with AI vendors. Our recommendations are based on what fits your workflow, not on what benefits us.
Your operational pace
We don't impose external timelines. For longer engagements, the pace is set by your calendar — including the weeks when nothing should happen.
Trial before full adoption
Each Ground Plan workflow runs with a small chosen group for four weeks before wider use. We document what we learn and adjust before handover.
Professional Expertise
Practitioners, not generalists
Padang Digital was founded by people who had spent years working in operations and enterprise software before turning their attention to AI integration. We know what it takes to move a workflow from promising idea to daily habit.
Our team brings direct experience with large language model deployments, document automation, and the internal change management that determines whether a tool gets used or quietly abandoned.
Deep knowledge of Singapore business context
We understand the operational norms and regulatory environment that Singapore teams work within.
Experience across multiple workflow types
From document summarisation to correspondence drafting to internal knowledge tools — we've built and handed over each type.
Governance and data handling expertise
We assess vendor data terms and internal oversight considerations before any build begins.
Process Advantage
A method that protects your time
Most AI engagements ask a lot of your team's time — in discovery workshops, in review sessions, in adoption coaching. We've designed our process to minimise that demand while still doing thorough work.
The listening visit requires a half-day from two people. The trial phase requires periodic check-ins, not continuous involvement. The handover is a document, not a training programme.

Value & Pricing
Pricing that reflects modesty
Our price points are deliberately modest. The Quiet Survey at SGD 175 is designed to remove the financial risk from a first conversation. The Ground Plan at SGD 360 is priced for a single, well-specified workflow — not a multi-week consultancy engagement.
We'd rather be engaged often by teams who found the first thing useful than engaged once on a large scope that promises more than it delivers.

Ground Plan
SGD 360One workflow, written specification, four-week trial, full written handover.

Typical AI providers vs. our approach
| Feature | Typical AI Consultant | Padang Digital |
|---|---|---|
| Scope defined before work begins | Rarely in writing | Always written, agreed first |
| Vendor-neutral recommendations | Often partner-dependent | No vendor agreements |
| Trial period before full deployment | Typically skipped | Four-week trial included |
| Handover removes dependency | Retainer often follows | Your team owns the result |
| No-obligation initial engagement | Rare without proposal embedded | Quiet Survey carries no obligation |
| Pace set by client operations | External deadlines typical | Your rhythm, not ours |
What makes our approach distinctive
A listening engagement with no strings attached
The Quiet Survey produces a written letter of observations and carries zero obligation to continue. Very few consultancies offer this. We do because we believe the listening itself has value, independent of any further work.
We document how to switch things off
Every handover document includes a section on how to discontinue the workflow if you choose to. This is unusual. We include it because we think it's important that you never feel locked into something we built.
Governed before it goes live
Governance — who has access, what data is processed, which vendor holds it — is considered before any build begins. Not added as an afterthought when someone asks about it later.
Modest scale by preference
We build one workflow at a time in the Ground Plan. Not because we can't do more, but because experience shows that one well-chosen, well-tested tool gets used. Three rushed ones rarely do.
